{"id":7282,"date":"2023-05-13T15:56:04","date_gmt":"2023-05-13T15:56:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hornchurchbells.co.uk\/main\/?p=7282"},"modified":"2025-03-15T12:22:50","modified_gmt":"2025-03-15T12:22:50","slug":"celebrating-the-coronation-of-king-charles-iii-with-bells","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hornchurchbells.co.uk\/main\/2023\/05\/13\/celebrating-the-coronation-of-king-charles-iii-with-bells\/","title":{"rendered":"Celebrating the Coronation of King Charles III with Bells"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">As bell ringers our central body encouraged us to \u2018Ring for the King\u2019 and on Saturday 6<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;May 2023, that is exactly what we did.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">At St Andrew\u2019s at 10.00am, 25 bell ringers gathered to celebrate this momentous occasion. Most of the ringers present could not remember the last coronation in 1953 and none were old enough to have rung for it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Taking it in turns, we rang St Andrew\u2019s bells for a full hour leading up to the Coronation service at Westminster Abbey at 11am.
