Rung for VJ Day 80th\u00a0Anniversary"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>80 years ago, Victory Over Japan (VJ) Day marked the surrender of Japanese forces, which essentially ended the Second World War.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Friday 15<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0August 2025, the 80<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0anniversary of VJ Day was commemorated at St Andrew\u2019s with a special ringing of the bells at 6.30pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This was part of a national event with bell ringers across the country ringing together at the same time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We had 10 ringers taking part and one piece of ringing is listed below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/dove.cccbr.org.uk\/tower\/14513\"
